Who We Are

Aegis is a high performance football academy based in Westlands, Nairobi, dedicated to developing well-rounded young athletes. Through personalised coaching, low player-coach ratios, and cutting-edge technology, we nurture each child’s football ability while instilling essential life skills such as reflective thinking, teamwork, problem-solving, communication, discipline, and commitment. We also introduce vital off-field concepts like nutrition, helping children grow both as players and individuals.

Meet the Founder

The importance of sport can never be understated. I am fortunate to have experienced first-hand the value it brings far beyond the playing field - giving me a deep sense of purpose, direction, and identity. Sport has consistently challenged me to exceed limits I once thought impossible and has taught me to manage failure as an essential part of the pursuit of excellence.

From a young age, I developed a deep passion for sport, actively playing football, cricket, hockey, and now golf. These experiences have shaped my life, not just through the skills acquired, but through the friendships, values, and unforgettable memories created along the way. For me, sport has always been more than just a game, it has been a powerful teacher and a unifying force.

But along my journey as an athlete, I also recognised a recurring problem: often, what held players back wasn’t their talent - it was the systems surrounding them. Poor structures, limited support, and mismanagement frequently limited potential. This realisation sparked in me a desire to become a force for change; to build the systems and structures that ensure athletes have the support they need to truly thrive.

That mission led me to the University of Portsmouth, where I pursued a BSc in Sports Development and proudly graduated with First Class Honours. The combination of practical experience as an athlete and academic grounding in sports systems has equipped me with the skills to design and implement sustainable, high-impact frameworks that expand access while delivering excellence.

Aegis Academy is the embodiment of that mission - a world-class, sustainable football academy dedicated to developing players capable of performing at the highest level. More than that, Aegis is about cultivating a culture of excellence, discipline, and accountability. A place where athletes, coaches, and administrators are inspired to push boundaries, realise their potential, and contribute meaningfully to the growth of the game.
